Andrew grew up in one of the most run-down areas of South Wales. Home was a block of flats,
on a very tough Council estate. It was deemed to be such a bad area in which to reside by the
local news channels that ‘Wales this Week’ made a TV documentary about it.

Andrew a voracious will to win which manifested itself on the football & rugby field, in the boxing
ring, and later in Military life and on into business.
